A dog in Hong Kong has been placed under a two-week quarantine after samples taken from his nose and mouth tested “weak positive” for 2019-nCoV - also known as Coronavirus. The pup was taken to a vet for samples to be collected on February 26th, and is thought to be the only dog to have tested positive.
For the moment, the pup does not have any symptoms of infection. The Hong Kong Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department says that though the virus was found in the samples, it's still unclear whether dogs or cats can become infected or transmit the disease to humans. It is...
